Pharmacological properties

MOTS-c (mitochondrial derived peptide MDP-s, Mitochondrial Open Reading Frame of the 12S rRNA-c) is a 16-amino acid peptide encoded by mitochondrial DNA. It is involved in regulating energy metabolism, glucose and lipid metabolism, and cellular stress responses. The peptide activates AMPK (adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase), a key regulator of cellular energy balance. MOTS-c is a promising peptide in the context of metabolism control, aging, endurance, longevity, and processes leading to diseases such as osteoporosis.

Composition

1 vial (3 ml) contains:

MOTS-c – 15 mg
Water for injection

Indications for use

01
MOTS-c reduces body weight, promotes fatty acid oxidation, and improves insulin sensitivity: MOTS-c increases glucose uptake by muscles, activates AMPK, and raises GLUT4 transporter levels.
02
Anti-aging effects: Increased MOTS-c levels in the blood improve physical activity, reduce inflammation, and enhance endurance in adulthood.

Contraindications

01
Hypersensitivity to MOTS-c or excipients
02
Pregnancy and lactation (due to lack of sufficient clinical data)
03
Children under 18 years (lack of sufficient clinical data)
